Now I know I said I didn’t plan on giving out betas of the game behind paywalls, but I know I haven’t posted much, people really want to play the game, and that feedback is important – so I thought I’d give you guys a copy! If you really want to, feel free to post it elsewhere I don’t rly care.
I’m posting it here in early access because it sets a lower expectation. If I posted a beta like this on Gamejolt there’d be much more expectations for polish and features, which are currently not in a playable state.
FYI everything in this beta is subject to change!
things implemented:
- AI (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Mangle)
- Front and back of the office
- Customizable jukebox (only supports .ogg sounds due to Game Maker limitations)
- FXAA on certain game sprites)
- UI for displaying the time
- Overhauled sprite-loading system
- 3D audio
- Functioning power management system
Things to note:
- Jumpscares are not implemented. Instead it will just give you a small pop-up to indicate who jumpscared you.
- Extras and settings menus aren’t accessible
- Nights don’t end
- By default AI is deactivated. This can be tweaked from the “Custom Night” option in the “Continue” menu
- Phone calls and music are also not implemented
- Cameras can be accessed by pressing space or clicking the button at the top of the screen
- The back of the office can be accessed by clicking the button on the bottom of the screen or pressing S
- The door lights (on the left, right and back of the office) can be enabled by holding down control
- all 3 doors can be closed
- Only 3 mechanics can be active at once (e.g only two doors and one camera can be used at the same time)
How animatronics work:
- Bonnie starts in cam 1 and moves to cam 10, then to cam 6, then to either the back or left door. Close those doors to keep her away
- Chica goes from cam 3 to 11 to 8, and tries to enter from the back or right door. Close the doors on her too.
- Mangle is in camera 5 and moves closer to the exit of the room. Use the ‘flash’ button to keep her at bay
- Foxy works like Foxy does in FNAF 1, with a 2-second running sound that will jumpscare you if the door is not closed by then.
- Freddy goes from cam 2, moving to either cam 6, 8 or 9. Use the ‘record’ button on the camera she is in until she leaves.
